10.) Is there any payment to join the KeeperKu programme?
A fee of RM50.00 for every registration will be charged for this programme which included a visit to Giant Panda Conservation Centre. This fee also for the contribution of wildlife environmental education programme.
11.) I pay to join the KeeperKu programme. Does that mean I get to choose what I want to do / which animals I want to work with?
As a participant, your objective is to help Zoo Negara Malaysia in its daily operation. You will be task to help in any respective section assigned by our education officer. Participants are not allowed to change sections once assigned.
12.) What if I want to join the KeeperKu programme for a long-term of period, do I have to pay each time I join the programme?
Please notify the Education Department officers on your intention. Participants will be evaluated based on personality, attitudes, discipline and feedback from the supervisors. The Education Department officers will advise the participants accordingly after the evaluation.
13.) Does Zoo Negara Malaysia still provide the certificate to acknowledge the time I contributed for the organization like the previous years?
A certificate will be given to the participants once he / she has contributed at least 40-hours in the zoo.
14.) Where should I park my car if I drive to the zoo? Do I have to pay the Parking fee?
Kindly park your car near Gate 3 (where the Guard House is). Yes, you have to pay for the Parking Fee.
